I co-founded LocumAid out of a desire to bring a more personal approach to healthcare staffing. Throughout my clinical career, including my own experience working locum assignments, I saw how easily staffing can become transactional — even though healthcare works best when teams know and trust one another.

I’ve always believed that strong patient care begins with strong professional relationships. At LocumAid, we focus on supporting care teams through dependable clinical partnerships built on trust, communication, and long-term collaboration between clinicians and healthcare facilities.

My greatest motivation is my family — my wife, Lauren and our son, Shepherd. LocumAid reflects the values most important to me: personal connection, honesty, and relationships that last. I’m grateful to build this company alongside two longtime friends and providers who share the same commitment to doing things the right way.

I co-founded LocumAid with the belief that how you do business matters just as much as what you deliver.

Healthcare staffing isn’t transactional to me — it’s relational. Every placement affects real people, real teams, and real patients. That perspective drives how I approach the work we do. My focus within the company is on growth, operational strength, and building a standard of excellence our partners can depend on.

Entrepreneurship is important to me, but my greatest motivation comes from my family. My wife Sam and our two children, Casey and Ryker, remind me every day why character, consistency, and hard work matter.

I believe trust is earned through action. My goal is to help build a company known not only for performance, but for integrity, loyalty, and a lasting impact in healthcare.

Jake Carroll

I’m Jake Carroll, co-founder of LocumAid, a healthcare staffing company created to make locum tenens placement simpler, more transparent, and more reliable for both clinicians and healthcare organizations.

I helped start LocumAid with a commitment to removing friction from the staffing process and building a service that truly supports the people involved. My work focuses on improving operations, strengthening relationships, and creating practical solutions that help clinicians find flexible and rewarding opportunities.

At LocumAid, I’m dedicated to ensuring providers feel valued and supported while helping facilities maintain high-quality patient care through dependable clinician coverage.

Outside of work, I’m a husband to my wife Karlie and a proud dad to our two kids, James and Caroline. They keep life full, fun, and grounded.
